Jim Weber, Retired CPA, CGMA

Jim Weber, Retired CPA and CGMA, started his accounting career with Deloitte, however, he left in 1980 to create his own firm, Weber Clark, Ltd. In 2020, he merged his firm with GBQ and took on the role of Senior Director there. He retired in 2021, and has since served as a Consultant and Mentor to GBQ and KOR Accounting.

At GBQ, Jim’s primary area of focus is strategic business consulting, planning, and mergers and acquisitions. He also speaks on a national level for the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and National Association of Electrical Contractors (NECA). In addition, he is a frequent speaker for The University of Toledo, Bowling Green State University, and The University of Toledo Minority Business Development Center, as well as numerous other organizations in Northwest Ohio.

Jim is actively involved throughout the community. He is a former board member and past president of the Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce, and previously served as a board member for ProMedica and its Finance Committee. Jim is also a past board member of Paramount Insurance Company.

In 2002, Jim was selected as Bowling Green State University’s Distinguished Accounting Alumni, and as an Entrepreneur of the Year Award nominee. In 2003, he was pleased to accept the prestigious Torch Award on behalf of the Weber Clark team.
